Can you guys help get a good photo for the main part of this page? A good shot of the band would be fantastic.

I kind of like the enclosed one here, but would like something higher rez.

Any suggestions?

Hi Brewster - Many great band photos have been posted in this forum. Use the link above. May I suggest you start with the uploads of Tigerbolt.

Thanks for all the work you guys do there at Archive.org. Much appreciated!!

Great Photo!

Every picture tells a story don't it! A unique approach to "Rock n Roll" music.

Compelling evidence of the remnants of the most highly engineered sound system of and in their day.

This is a quickie demo. Just so you know, I'm running my screen res at 1280 x 1024. Brewster's pic is 316 x 254. In Photoshop, I upped the res to 480 x 386. That's about as far as the interpolation could go.

Arb's idea is basic. This fits the band's vibes at its core, it seems to me. Color shots are usually harder to find for what you're looking for. This one has been floating around. I upped the res in Photoshop, and cropped it to frame the band. I can go back and rework this one. I can also grab and rework ones that you guys have selected. The pic below is 680 x 563.

i don't have much in the way of band photos apart from a collection of fairly lo-res ones that seem mostly to be culled from various publications, i.e., copyrighted stuff; tigerbolt has a pretty impressive collection and maybe he will see your post and link a few; personally, i'd love the photo to be from the acid years, maybe even a live shot, rather than some un-exciting pose shot ... i realize i'm in the minority on that account; cheers

Hello Brewster,

Thanks for asking and thanks for making this place possible!

I like the one that's up there now -- with Jerry in his Anthem t-shirt. You might not want to use such a wide image though. Unless I have my window all the way open, it pushes the content in the middle column way down the page.

Peace,
Mike
